Megafauna – northern Australia threats

Professor Helene Marsh from James Cook University has been studying marine megafauna like dugongs and turtles in northern Australia for decades. She says our ability to conserve mobile animals relies on effective agreements between neighbouring countries and managing the diverse threats they face in Australia such as climate change, river runoff and hunting.
