2016 was a year for celebrating Townsville’s history. This ‘Behind the Scenes’ video was produced by LensCap to thank the families for sharing their memories and time with us and to create a ‘digital story’ format for the project for LensCap researchers.
We take a “Behind the Scenes” look at the Families of Townsville street art project displayed as part of T150 and The Percival’s in June and July, 2016. Townsville City Council Gallery Services in partnership with the LensCap Crew have taken historical portraiture to the streets; share the experiences of the project team as they trace the history of some of Townsville’s founding families.
